It's true that she hasn't posted much lately but I thought that had to do with all the stuff to do with the new board software and fixing up things in here...

They had very strong storms and a tornado through Iowa City this past week...
Took roofs of dorms at the college and walls out of a landmark church near campus....  not sure of all that was damaged or how wide spread...  DON'T BELIEVE that there were any deaths or severe injuries reported....
Just would like to know if he's OK???

Glad it missed you, kelly!

Anybody else have one of those weather radios?

We have just gotten one, and the first time it kicked in with a warning, we were trying to go to sleep. Now, if it was reporting a tornado warning for our neighborhood, fine. But it was reporting a chance of hail in the next county!! We turned it off, well aware of the irony of doing so.
