Good info. I wonder what the percentages are... how many use which text program. That would be interesting.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

I have had Tex-Edit Plus for many years (back in OS 8-9 era). I find it convenient for writing non-academic, publishing kinds of stuff (like longer internet posts). Never caused me a problem.

Text Edit I only used when I first got this machine because it was the default to open documents. Otherwise I don't think I have even typed anything into Text Edit.

TextWrangler I have, just because it's free. wink.gif

I wasn't aware of TE+, I use SubEthaEdit but TE+ seems to be worth looking into.

The communication features in SEE aren't available in any other editors that I know of. It works like an instant messenger.
