Thanks, Neil. I hope everyone had a great Thursday, and those here in the USA enjoyed a good day with family and friends.

I had a great day. Friends welcomed me like family, and we talked, laughed, ate, played "3-13" (card game), and I made friends with 2 of their cats. :heart emoji: One kitty decided I was his best buddy and he climbed up under my chin and slept for almost an hour. I finally made him move because my hands were numb; but he kept coming back for snuggles. I could easily have brought him home with me.

Had nice family time with no arguments.  :taped:   First time in years we were together for Turkey Day. It was kind of odd being the elder at the table, proud, but sad as well, remembering past years.

Nonetheless, we have much to be thankful for.

The few family members that remain live too far away to join us (or have us join them) for Thanksgiving. My wife and I actually made the Thanksgiving meal the night before, allowing us to have all of Thanksgiving Day free from chores.

We are truly grateful that we met, married, and have had almost 51 wonderful years together. My only regret is that we didn't marry sooner.

Had a very enjoyable turkey dinner prepared by my youngest daughter, with contributions from another daughter and my Ex.

It was truly a thankful day.

Congrets Jon, on your 51 years of bliss - fantastic!
