iTunes problem how iPad apps download...
« on: July 18, 2018, 04:48:35 AM »
Used to be that if I chose to download an app from the iTunes app store while I was using my iPad it would show up on the iPad's screen as being downloaded. When finished I could open it.

Now they download to my MBP's iTunes>Music>Mobile Applications. If I want it on my iPad I'm obliged to pull into my MBP, choose to install the app and sync the iPad. "Or" I think I can go to purchased and get it from the stupid cloud.

I have iTunes 12.6.2 and it always downloaded apps directly to my iPad.

Why has that changed? I tried a online suggestion to do a hard reboot... didn't help one bit. Any ideas how I DO fix it?

Thanks...

Sorry... never mind.
It was a corrupt .plist file. I was able to fetch a copy from the external with Time Machine by browsing in Finder and drag it over.
