My apple watch I bought on the 20th June 2022 in the Apple store in Edingburgh and I had it with Apple Care, which expired. It developed a fault as Appe encouraged me to update it often, and I think that is why it sopped working. I took it to Apple Stour in Murcia and was told at the genius bar that it would have to be repaired in the UK. They informed me that it had a 6 year guarantee on it, under UK consumer law.
I think lost of people are not aware of this.
Currently I am arranging for a friend to take it to the UK
