A Free Lightroom Alternative
« on: April 10, 2021, 09:40:32 AM »
The name should be a clue that this is from a group of truly dedicated, pun-loving geeks! Here is a list of their other photograpy-centric apps. Another clue is the bare-bones download page. If nothing else, you can get an interesting view of the installation process for most any OS you can think of. :D (Bonus points if you can identify more than 4 of the supported OS from the 11 graphics at the top of the Install page.)

I have no idea how well this app works but the (one) review I read:
Quote from: Graham Houghton Photo Blog
...has more tools than Lightroom, and those tools have more advanced features to help you achieve your creative vision. Darktable is a free alternative for editing your RAW files and managing your photos...
I’ll continue using this program for the next month for both RAW and JPEG files to judge how well it performs and how easy is it for me to remember how to use it! [emphasis added]
As Graham says; Good luck!
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults!

TL;DR For those who don't like following links:
Name the OS for each numbered mini-graphic:
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults!
