Voltage conversion for Macs

My wife and I are going to Europe next month for a holiday. We are taking 2 iPhones, iPad, & a MBP.  What’s the safest way to charge them daily on Europe’s 240 volt system? I used a converter years ago on a trip to France and it fried my hair blower. I don’t want that for our Mac devices. Suggestions?

Has no one dealt with this issue before? Hoping someone provide their experience when travelling overseas with their Macs.

We've traveled many times to Europe and even Vietnam/Cambodia with iDevices and once with a MBP. We have always used a voltage converter (with multiple plug adaptors) and our regular Apple adaptors. Have never tried using a hair dryer on a converter. Actually have never needed a hair dryer, since most hotels and even B & B's always provide one that works on the local voltage. Hair dryers use in the hundreds (even thousands!) of watts, most converters are not built for that.

Maybe a variable, step-down transformer would work. Those usually weigh ~50 pounds [~22.6kg]! Might want to ship that ahead...

Have never taken a non-portable Mac.

Had a superb riverboat cruise through 4 countries. We simply used an adaptor to plug in our devices. No issues at all.

Great to hear your cruise was enjoyable, also. 👏 We've had several, but one suffered from low water during the drought in much of Europe.

XAirbusdriver, Same here. We were bussed between two river stops due to low water. Wasn't a big deal. Weather, food, Avalon cruise service, land tours, etc. were superb!
