Title: I tunes G4 and a regular CD burner
Post by: ilw-00 on May 05, 2003, 08:54:00 AM: I have a G4 laptop, using system10.2 and a regualr CD burner. Is there any way I can burn the songs I downwoad from the music store on to a CD, Thank you. ilw-00

Post by: ilw-00 on May 05, 2003, 11:48:00 PM: The cd burner is the internal one that comes with the G4 laptop. It is not a superdrive. The current verison of I tunes works on the computer. I have not been burning MP3'S with it. My goal is to be able to play the downloaded music with a regular CD player. I am confused because in most but not all of the literature says you need a superdrive.Thank you. ilw-00

Post by: tacit on May 05, 2003, 02:44:00 PM: You do not need a Superdrive to burn a music CD from iTunes. You can burn an audio CD from iTunes using any iTunes-supported CD recorder, including Apple's CD recorder.

Find something that will play in your CD Player.

Post by: giantmike on May 06, 2003, 01:50:00 PM: Also, make sure you are burning as an Audio CD for use in a regular CD player. This option can be found in the iTunes preferences.
