Instant DVD allows the capture of video from any video source including your camcorder, VCR, DVD player, DirectTV, Tivo or Replay PVR or laser disk player. Just connect the video cables to the RCA or S-VHS jacks on Instant DVD and you are ready to digitize and compress the video in real time. Interesting Jennie.
How can you get good video quality through USB...
"The Instant DVD includes a hardware codec (encoder/decoder) so the video is compressed in real time as DVD quality or VCD quality video (depending upon your selection) and sent down the USB cable to your Mac."
Full D1 MPEG-2 broadcast resolution (720 x 480 NTSC)
Other capture resolutions: 640 x 480......
This is a comvertor. Doesn't include a burner.
Be pretty nice at a $100 less.
But then so would most things.

I think Lorraine would like it, when she goes to X.

"Be pretty nice at a $100 less."
How about more than $100 less?
