Found out that Archives had

Well, I see that mine has reverted to the pre-prankster level, but not the pre-upgrade level plus posts since. But, I didn't have my total written down, so all I remember is noticing I had lost several hundred. It's really no big deal.

You might also want to try 'furtling'. At least that seems to work on the other side of the 'pond'!

I thought I had a lot more, but I didn't actually know how many, so I couldn't complain. Thanks for doing this!

I think the only other time I heard the word 'furtling' it was in a discussion of the best way to do artificial insemination on a marmot. I used to work in the BioSciences Division at the University of Kansas. Maybe working on the board is sort of like that but I doubt it!

Thanks Jennie. Mine looks "correct" now. There are at least 9 or 10 others that aren't. Check out the Overall Top Ten list if you're so inclined. I shouldn't even be on it.

Thanks, Jennie.
Mine's right/wrong/what it is. I never paid any attention, so I can't help you as far as accuracy goes.
How about ... Y'all do a great job and to me, post count isn't important. I know, shame on me.

I am not sure how many I have but I will when I post this post but my question is (I know it is off topic) but how do you guys put that custom line under your avitar? I think mine just says "super poster" I want somthing like what ABD has.
Thanks
Hmmm seems low to me. I thought I was in the 300's at least.

Nope, mine is still the same. I was somewhere in the 2500 something post range (give or take a hundred or two, not sure of actual number).

Kelly used to have what 12,000 may be more?
Snuffysbluff used to have over 1,000 now he are only 205
I think is miscounting the postings previews to the year 2002

I remember drafting a rhyme earlier this year about Kelly who had, then, in the mid-14,000s
Jen: you and I are roughly 2000+ short in the New, Improved, TeeEss
Little enough price to "pay", methinks.

Hey ADB. Reference you reply to Bill-R. I dont seem have that field available. I tried all of the different skins, but still no custom member title field. My first line is date of birth.

It may be an admin thing. Sorry,
But I think Paddy mentioned that it was a 'benefit' of posting at least 500 messages. Maybe you need to get 'busy'!

yeah that is what it is... I didn't have it until my post count reverted back to the 900's..... when it was in the 400's I didn't have that option. Now that I do.... I don't know what to put in there anyway....

Mine's still showing about 1,450 and had been just about eight short of 2,000.
But I'm not that bothered. The board is S-O-O-O-O-O-O much faster now it's even more of a joy to come on here... .

Below the archives, under "Delete Cookies" there are several links.
Among them: Today's Top Ten and Overall Top Ten
I like lists of all kinds. I even make my own from time to time.

Not that I really care but I am missing about 2000 or so. The only reason I remember is that I noticed my post count here was very close to the mileage on my car (6500) when it turned one year old in April. I was thinking that it would be interesting if we were somehow granted one free mile for every post....
OK, so my mind goes off in odd directions...

OK, I think Jennie and/or sandbox have the Post Count thing working fairly well.
Now, who is going to tackle the IQ rating?! Mine is showing distinct signs of loss!

I think no one really cares about his/her post count in the sense that it's not a contest, and there's no financial reward for piling up the posts. But, many seem to care that it's as accurate as it can be, give or take a few dozen maybe, but not a few hundred or thousand.
That said, I'm still on the Overall Top Ten list, whereas before the recount, I wasn't. And Bill was second to kelly, by wide margin over #2. I refer to the ranking for descriptive and factual purposes only. As I said, it's not a contest.
So, there must be someone or more than one person who's total/s has/have not been recounted. I have unfairly been awarded a place on said list, and without going to court.

Thanks - I'll tell you all later why this is a rather special day on other counts....

Well, I am missing about 300 give or take 50 but it really makes no never mind (is that Southern talk or just bad grammer on my part!). Our unpaid administrators give so much time that I feel that correcting post count should be at the bottom of their to-do list.
I galdly give up accurate post counts to have the TS site extremely responsive as it is now. MamaMoose

I think we ought to switch the count over to Roman Numerals; that way only grade school math teachers could really know who was ahead!

Last August 25th my count was 668 (I printed a PDF file of my 50th birthday thread) so even allowing for another 50-60 between August and whenever the changeover was I didn't come out too badly!

I don't print them all that often but my 50th birthday banner was such an unexpected thing (I'd forgotten I even had my birthday in my profile) and I was very pleased! I like the PDF printing in OS X and I've bought a little program called PDF995 that is an PDF generator in the form of a printer driver for Windows XP. I've collected a lot of PDF files and I'm in the process of cataloging them onto a structured CD or DVD disk so I can find them when I need them.
