Post by: dolphin on July 03, 2006, 11:16:28 PM
YES! We finally met. Dick is in OHIO for a family reunion and we were able to connect and sit down for a face to face chat at long last. We tried to get together last year, but we missed each other. This year we had better luck.
It was Great to finally meet each other. We've iChatted and sent a PM or two over the years. But today was a real treat.

I see he forgot which way he was going when he got on the plane, and wore his Hawaiian 'business' shirt to Ohio
Hope the meeting was pleasant and productive.

'Twas very pleasant, to be sure. Dolphin overlooks that I also had the special treat of meeting Mrs. "Dolphin", too!
We've been enjoying O-HI-O immensely since arriving here last Thursday . . . except for the "summer cold" . . . whatever that's supposed to mean . . . that's sorta, kinda knocked me out for the last 48 hrs. That's not happened to me for years.
I hope that didn't show in the pics. since meeting Roy and his Missus was a joy, recomfirming – if that were necessary – that TeeEssers are a really special gang.
Right now, the local fireworks show is in jeopardy because of a deluge that's been drenching the locals for most of the day. The best show of the day, thus far, has been a remarkable display of forest inhabitants . . . pheasant, a dozen varieties of birds, a buck/doe/2 fauns cavorting about, just outside several of our windows in this sylvan homestead.
