Yes it was reported on CNN, and establishes the end of the eMac.

Apple Computers are right price for the buying, however, there is no Superdrive on it.  Seems like Apple would give students a break, but like on my current iMac G5 1.6 ghz. I installed a dual layerd superdrive on it myself, and it works great.

Way to go Apple...
