I have an aquaintance that mentioned his local company was interested in knowing whether people with MAC's and OS X would be interested in Computer Controlled Shortwave radio systems. I looked around and haven't found any OS X software for these systems so far but this is a website that sells PC based software with that hardware:

I used to listen to shortwave radio a lot when I was younger and while I could repair my receivers and probably will it might be nice to get one of these that interface and use a computer. If you know of something in this regard then speak up!
