Thanks, I missed it, was in Vermont.
I am sure looking forward to getting one of the new MacTellLeopard machines, but want to wait for a while.
Husband pushing me, since my G5 is still in the shop, getting a new power supply.

aww
so you're macless without a G5
i can't stand being mac-less for more than a day
lol
I'm dying for a Mac Pro... i already have a MacBook, which could be faster...
maybe i'll upgrade to a MacBook Pro... i don't really know yet... :\
-
Actually not Mac-less, Ive got this nice big G4 here, but all the wedding pictures that I need to start working on are on the G5.
My little Powerbook is broken,,,,,,boo hoo.
Ive got the big G4 with the CRT down cellar ready to give to our local private school for their photolab. The other school didnt want it, as they got some sort of a grant, and have more computers than they need.

well there's always another home for it if they don't want it
lol
that's nice that you're donating the computer to them
My school is getting rid of macs
boo hoo
so to solve that problem
i bring my MacBook to school every day
(plus i save time because i don't have to log into "windoze" and i have all of my files on my MacBook already, and if i want to take something home it's already on here, and when class gets boring there are online games ready to be played
oh and did i mention virtual homework? i can finish something the period before and just say 'mrs. blah, i need to print this.')
well the macs at our school are running 9.2 anyway, so they're sort of obsolete, even though the imacs, pmg4's, and ibooks can run tiger.
cheers,

Hi Parker, You know, thats a thought, I should ask before I replace OS 9 with Tiger.
They might not want it.
Thanks,
Jane
-
Yes they may not want it
some districts don't use OS X because of security loopholes
i know my school didn't upgrade to OS X because there were loops
(not that windows is any better... my friend hacked their windows server and DOD'd it)
Cheers,
Parker
