Didn't read about this till today, it cost me $14! It was a special at a site yesterday for $6, regular price is $19.95. Oh well...
The app is called <Meander>. It puts a translucent ( that's "invisible" fro RHP ) layer over your screen and allows you to draw a line connected to points you set. Assuming that there is a map showing, the line could be a rout you want to measure/mark/record for yourself or others. It can match the scale of the map, so if you increase/decrease the size of the map, you can make the route match the new scale, also. Some suggest that you could use the app to determine sizes of rooms in a house floor plan. The line is customizable in color, width and opacity. When satisfied with your drawing, it can be saved as a jpeg and printed or emailed to a friend ( or, depending on how bad the route is, to an enemy ).
I'm thinking this could be great for planning a hiking or canoeing trip.

Gailwin,
I believe there is a drawing tablet for the Mac but for the life of me I cannot remember its name. Perhaps some TSer can help here.
