From checking out the weather for Waldport at weather.com, it's currently a chilly, but sunny 50 degrees with a wind chill that makes it feel like 45! (so much for the forecasted 77) Brrr. Looks like the fog has lifted. (In Corvallis it's a sunny 88, if you feel like warming up!) It never ceases to amaze me how different the weather can be at the beach in Oregon. We'd head off on a blazing hot day in Corvallis and find ourselves wishing for jeans, sweaters and wind breakers at the coast. We learned! Here on the other side of the country the differences aren't usually so pronounced.

kelly, Crais and I are doing grand. Did you know Amazon has a "4 for 3" promo going on? I added to my library with Crais, Robb and Morrell.
No agates today, ABD.
No sand in my shoes either, Paddy. It may have been sunny in the Alsea Bay and on our hill, but it was foggy at the beaches -- so we didn't go. Instead we went to the garden center and picked up some pretties. Came home and Sneakers dug holes in the front yard and I planted "stepables" and several other little plants.

It's been a grand birthday. Sneakers bought me a beautiful pair of earrings with Australian opals, and my aunt and uncle called and sang to me. They are sending me money to go back to the garden center and buy something, so I think I'll get that fancy pot that was on sale. My Chinese bell plant would look gorgeous in it.
Now, I'm off to see what Sneakers is serving for supper -- besides a mess for me to clean up. hahaha

Parker, the "4 for 3" at Amazon covers books, cds, movies. Go to amazon.com, click on Music and you should see an ad. On my page, it was down a bit - they kinda hide it.
