<Onyx has been updated>. But there have been a couple of reports of problems with the two previous versions that are not mentioned in the "what's new" text. Caution is always advised with "system" utilities.
Any suggestions about a possible "title suffix"? We've tried a single thread for updates and it didn't go over well ( possibly because of early search bugs ). Others say these threads get lost by not staying on the 'front page' very long. I'm thinking a common 'tag' might help in a search for this type of posts.

It would need to be more than 2 letters, as the search engine doesn't see less than 3., so no UP, no UA, UPDATE will work.....
-
Well, CHANGE THE SOFTWARE!

Next problem...
OK, how about "RUAUBM" = Recently Updated Application Used By Many? We can always add "Here" (RUAUBMH) if the former is too ambiguous...
-
He, he. I thought you were trying to come up with some sort of palindrome.
RUAUR
Recently
Updated
Applications
Used
Regularly

HA! I've got pals in planes! I don't need no pals in dromes!

OTOH, "RUAUR:" might be useful. I was have way serious about the prefix, but it doesn't appear to be a problem for more than 3 of us!
And I can't remember who the other two are!
-
It just occurred to me that if you say RUAUR out loud, it sounds like one of our OS kitties.
-
And, what does it sound like if you don't say it "out loud"?

( from one who always reads/thinks "out loud" in his mind.
)

OK, wise guy, if you 'speak it', rather than spell it.
-
Why is it whenever someone uses "wise" when talking about me, they always include "guy" along with it?
Hey! I don't have to surf the web to get abuse like this!
Trying to bring this thread somewhere near the useful category...
Never mind, I think I'll start a new thread...
