Title: DSL. It's back.
Post by: cdub1988 on September 07, 2006, 04:02:21 PM
I just switched back to AT&T's DSL service after a parting of the ways for awhile.

I have to say I missed this speed tremendously.

Like night and day compared to the cable carrier here.

It screams.

Take care, all.

Yep, they're aggravating (like double billing me for two months) but they're fast!   dry.gif

Fast?  How Fast?       Go to:     speakeasy.net/speedtest

Where I reside, in New York State, DSL offers a small fraction of the bandwidth that one can get with a cable modem connection !

Your download speed : 1617 kbps or 202.2 KB/sec.

Your upload speed : 314 kbps or 39.2 KB/sec.

My cable connection wouldn't even approach that.....but I don't put much stock in "speed tests" anyway.

I know that this connection runs circles around my cable connection I had.

I love it. biggrin.gif

Take care, all.
