They’re celebratin’ our pal, the one named Clay
He’s part of TeeEss’ Senior Caucus, so rare,
Where several of us congregate – in the Old Coots’ Lair.
Now all you less “experienced” sprouts – there,
Just count your blessings, on Clay’s day, faire,
That your Seniors remain present and accounted for,
To help out TeeEss, as it continues to soar.
On paths quite straight, we aim to keep,
With steady hands and attitudes neat,
This rowdy bunch of lay-abouts
Some tall, some lean, some even, well, stout.
So these good wishes – warm – we dispatch to Clay
Who's thirty-nine, or so, this very day,
As all his blessings – now – he does assay,
Do add to ours, please, another . . .
