For the past few hours,
my MacBook has been plugged in.
The battery icon is stuck on 41%
the lights on the battery also shows it's in that area.
and the MagSafe light stays green
However the lights on the battery are not flashing
which indicates it's not charging
And that's also kind of weird
that the battery is stuck on 42% capacity
when coconutBattery shows that my battery has 42% of its original capacity left in it (2200/5200mAh)
Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated
ADDITION:
The application i use to measure battery life (coconutBattery) also says that the battery is not charging.

okay now...
it's a problem with the battery
anyone else having problems with macbook batteries
especially those with comptuers built in week 30?

Parker, have you tried resetting the PMU? Apparently that can solve this problem:

as directed by AppleCare

Lol, I had the same problem with my OLD MBP a few times. Reseting the PMU should do it. You did it with no power to the computer right? No bat or magsafe?
