I got a couple of neat little girls in costumes (one a butterfly and one a lady bug) but my digital camera was out of juice.  My friend got a kid dressed up in a paper mache banana costume.

If I were to buy a costume this says it all for me:

Best costume I saw this halloween was a 4th grade boy dressed up as someone in a shower. He had a shower curtain rigged all around him on PVC pipe (suspended from his shoulders) and a shower head complete with silver icicles for the water attached to his back; it was very clever. A friend accompanying him was dressed as the Lucky Charms leprachaun and kept declaring "I'm magically delicious" - he was very cute too.
