Belated. It was yesterday. Have many more!

Thanks for the birthday wishes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This year is one of the BIG decade ones - I'm 70 and in July, my wife and I will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. However, (in the analogy of a "used car") when people say I'm old, I reply...
"I may be 70, but I'm low mileage, I've been driven by a little old lady for the past 50 years and I've been serviced regularly (however, like on an old car, the service intervals have gotten further and further apart)."
As you get older, you sometimes begin to wonder "How much longer". I recently read that in the US when you are 65, half will live to be about 84. With my math and engineering background, I remembered that 7 x 12 is 84. And there are 12 months in a year, therefore, every 7 years could represent one month. Using this analogy, I'm entering the first day of November of my lifetime.
A friend sent me this link about seniors.
I'm not sure when or where I got it, but the page below gives some history that occurred on my birthday.

Happy Birthday TMM belatedly!
But I'm still about 8 months ahead of you!
And you'll never catch up with me! Unless . . . well, we won't think about that!

Happy Birthday Tom!!!

Since you have many more years ahead, my being late for this birthday won't matter.
I'm just early for the next one.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM !!!

Happy Birthday, Tom!
I'm a few "months" behind you.

Indeed, Happy Birthday Tom, even as belated as this is!
I couldn't get at a computer yesterday, but let there be many more in store!
All the best,

Happy birthday TMM! I hope it was a great one. I like your way of counting. I'm a couple of years older than you and I feel that my November has yet to begin.

And a great birthday from my side of the planet also!
Blame it on the timedifferences that I'm so late
