Hi TSers,
Was in London today. Now back in Basel. Bought an 80Gb iPod. Not especially interested in music "on the go". Believe it should be possible to sync my calendar stuff and appointments etc to the iPod. These data are currently in Entourage.
Typical of me, I have not yet looked at the included iPod booklet.
Anybody willing to give advice to a dilatory, but dedicated, Mac user?
I suffer from somewhat impaired eyesight - at age 78 it's more or less inevitable, so I also bought iListen. Probably an extended period of learning looms ahead of me.
Can somebody recommend an application that will enlarge the mouse pointer?

Eric, someone will no doubt be along soon to address the syncing issue.
The mouse cursor can be enlarged without any special software - it's built right into OS X. Open Preferences->Universal Access and click on the Mouse tab. Then move the slider at the bottom of the window until your cursor is the size you want it.

Congratulations on your new iPod eric.

You can sync your Apple Address Book easily.

The trick is getting your Entourage stuff.

Just a note to others, the mouse enlargement feature is only in Tiger.

I stumbled across this software today which claims to sync Entourage data to the iPod: http://www.zapptek.com/ipda/

Hello Paddy, Kelly and giantmike,
Many thanks for your help. I have already implemented the mouse cursor enlargement - very easy and effective. The zapptech iPDA looks promising. Have downloaded it and will try soon. If it works as claimed, it will be wonderful.
Thanks again
