Title: Mighty Mouse anomally!
Post by: dolphin on February 28, 2007, 05:56:21 AM
I've got a Mighty Mouse, and it just started this. I can scroll down but I can't scroll up. Just noticed this a few days ago. Anyone else have this problem?

It's not a show stopper, but a bit annoying.

I really don't like my Mighty Mouse - it doesn't move around as easily as it should.  I have often thought about changing it but not sure which one is best - any suggestions?

Is your mouse the bluetooth model? Is it one of the very first one's to be on the market?

The one I bought had similar problems. It would stop scrolling and the left/right button functions would forget their settings. Turning the mouse off and back on would temporarily fix the behavior but not for long.

Eventually, after a few calls to tech support, Apple replaced it. The new one has worked flawlessly.

YES...it is the Bluetooth model. Not sure huh.gif if it is an early one.   I think they had been out about a year before I took the plunge.

I just tried scrolling up in this thread and it is now working...huh.gif  Maybe acting as yours did. However; the left/right buttons work OK!
