Remember last year when Chinese officials clubbed thousands of pet dogs to death?!? Because of a Rabies scare. Why werent these dogs innoculated?
So is that the way to take care of a possible problem, not in my book it isnt. Its pretty darn awful.
So is there a connection between China and pet dogs somewhere? What is going on anyway.
How long is it going to take for this to effect some humans? We all know that very poor innercity elderly eat canned dog food to suppliment their diets when they run out of money. How soon will this take to endanger some of them?
This is really getting worse by the minute.

Now I'm concerned about my Dad's dogs, and my sister's dogs, cats, and whatever else... the horses were sold.
Is there a link to the lists? My sister is so busy taking care of Dad and grandkids, she could buy the bad stuff without knowing it. I haven't heard about a recall of products. That's really amazing! Edit: If I would have been paying attention, I wouldn't be so amazed. I did hear the news reporter tonight saying that many products have been recalled.

Yes I do think that humans better keep an eye on this stuff too, I wonder what is going to be next on the recall list. Scary situation, eh?

Jane, if it's true about people eating Alpo... it's still in the clear, but I sure hope not! I've heard of that in extreme cases too but I sure hope we're doing a better job of feeding people through food banks etc. than that.
For myself... I'm not sure why Canada would want to buy wheat from China for people when we grow so much... they thought they could get away with a cheaper source (maybe) for animals... they're finding out different!

Yes, the melamine story was on our news last night. We have a closet with shelves coated with that. Now I know not to try eating them.

First Aminopterin then "Maybe" Melamine but we're not sure? A higher then normal count of Kidney failure then nothing out of the ordinary?

What I’m pretty sure didn’t happen is that China didn’t cut their own throats, though you wouldn’t know that from watching the news.
This whole issue is very suspicious and I doubt we will ever really know what went down.
