Title: It's that age thing...
Post by: Highmac on August 07, 2007, 12:49:13 PM
Send a PM to a fellow poster on TeeEss in the morning. Go to work. Come home and check emails.... I have email notification of a personal message on TeeEss, click here and log in.... Only when I'm in to my messages do I realise the PM is from me. Yep... the email told me that, but I didn't read it before clicking.
Takes the phrase 'talking to yourself' to a whole new level

It's a shame you get so few emails you have to resort to sending them to yourself!
I can send you about 50 interesting emails a day if you want. You can win the UK Lottery, collect a share of an African prince's inheritance, refinance your home, cure your ED, etc. etc.
Let me know how many you want.

Do you have a cell phone?
...and a land line??

Fortunately, yes.... sometimes I need the landline to find the mobile...

Not to worry Highmac, you not alone, I've done that to myself.

Might belong in the humour thread, but it fits here so well:
If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull ... But that's not the worst of it. My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see things up close.
My traction is not asgraceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.
My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.
It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently.
But here's the worst of it --
Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter...either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires ! !
