This weekend Alicia and I had a weekend alone at the cabin. friday night we had a candlelight dinner, gazed at the stars, and watched the fire burn into the night. The next morning, I took here out for a walk in the woods behind the cabin. On the way back, I stopped her, got on one knee, and popped the question. She was so happy, she started crying and couldn't say anything, so just nodded emphatically.
I'm so so excited now. The big day will be some time next fall, but we have to get all those details worked out. I'll try to post some nice pics sometime this week.

Congratulations Mike and Alicia!! We are so happy for you!There are a couple of folks here that can give you advice on longevity, I know we have a 60, a couple of 50s and we just celebrated a 40 year union, so the bedrock is stable.
