Title: Web PDF document size
Post by: jb on October 06, 2007, 08:22:14 PM
iMac G5 rev.A, OS 10.4.10

I subscribe to a couple of Service Suppliers, let’s call them A and B, to send my account statements via the web.

Supplier A sends a PDF at 147%, supplier B at 90.5%. Is there a way for me to receive both PDF’s at 100%?

My friend subscribes also to supplier A, and he receives his PDF at 125%. He has an iMac rev.B, OS 10.4.10.

Who or what determines the percentage of a web PDF document?

I have not checked any of the Full Screen Setup boxes in my Adobe Reader 8 preferences.

Or am I full of baloney in thinking that my Reader settings have anything to do with a Web PDF document?

You have options in the Reader Preferences under Page Display for changing the default display. Try that! toothgrin.gif

Thanks Bruce F. Changed Page Display to 100% and that did it for both suppliers A and B, i.e. both open the PDF's at 100%.

However, with Safari, supplier A opens with only a half page, and suppier B with a full page. With Camino 1.0.3, Firefox 2.0.0.7, Netscape 7.2, OmniWeb 5.5, Opera 8.5.4, both suppliers open with a full page. Is there a way to have Safari also open both suppliers with a full page?
