Black of course. It's great. smile.gif

Decided not to wait for Leopard.

Faster than my Dual MDD at most things. smile.gif

Thanks for the Leaders.  smile.gif

2.16 GHz, 160 GB, 1 GB.

Going to get the 3 GB RAM Kit after a while.

It does really well with the 1 GB though. smile.gif

What is the "unusual Keyboard" that lowendmac mentions?

Hey Kelly, good seeing ya!

I'll probably have a few questions going forward. I'm thinking of making one a gift after the Leopard is out of her cage.

In low light I can see the keys on my White iBook OK, I was a little concerned about the black keys in low light.

I was also concerned about heat, how much and where is it concentrated?

Do you use WiFi, and is it a good receiver?

Last but not least…..is there any truth in MacBooks being placed in aluminum shells in the near future?

DB, They were plastic, which I like, Rumor has it that they may be changing.

OK... shows you what I know! I thought they were painted aluminum. doh.gif

You know... this is a little off topic here, but because they mention Apple's recent move to "aluminumize" everything lately in the linky you left... they bring up the new iPod. Which I have the 160GB model (silver) and I quite like the anodized aluminum... only one gripe, they left the back of the thing in shiny polished stainless steel which scratches easily and looks awful when it's smack full grubby fingerprints... given a choice I'd rather they treated it like they did the back of the iPhone or used the same anodized aluminum for the back. Makes sense to me... dntknw.gif

Wireless is fantastic. smile.gif

Safari is faster over a b Router than my wired Dual G4.

I have no idea what Apple is going to do.

Those that do aren't telling. smile.gif

Congrats, kelly! clap.gif We expect the Linquesmiester to expand the lists with this faster machine! ;-) And here's hoping you and I both can get a "free" copy of Leopard! smile.gif

BTW, DB, you might be thinking about the new keyboards Apple has released for their desktop models. It does have an aluminum 'housing' but the key caps remain white plastic. Black keys probably are standard on the black MbP models, for esthetics, I would assume. dntknw.gif
