Title: Internet download speed
Post by: goodear on December 04, 2007, 11:21:37 PM
I don't know if this is a Macintosh question, but I will ask it here since it possibly is. YouTube. I notice a significant lagtime between the audio and the video. The video is much slower, so that for instance a pianist will appear to be continuing to play for as much as 10-15 seconds after the audible portion is finished. This happens on all the YouTube stuff I have looked at. Is there something I can adjust on my Mac to fix this? Mac system 9.2, IE 5.1.

Maybe try a different browser (iCab, Mozilla) and make sure you have the latest Flash player/plugin for OS 9. I believe Flash is the 'native' format for YouTube and their ilk. And it seems like I've seen this question before...
