Title: repairing an iBook/PowerBook charging cord
Post by: sandbox on January 16, 2008, 06:48:51 PM
Just in case you need to.

I didn't solder the wires I joined them with wire sleeves, but it works just the same.
I only had a 1/4 inch of wire after I cut the rubber protector back so soldering would have been a mess.

Good luck wink.gif

Sandbox - I've joined and taped wiring connections upon occasion when I needed to check/fix something quickly but solder is generally preferred. . .you can count on it!  Word to the wise I'm sure!  smile.gif
