Title: Installing Windows Vista

Thought about putting this in "Tech" but it probably fits better here. Got this from my son, a PC-using engineer at a major aircraft manufacturing firm.

GREAT!!! My son who also uses a PC (laptop) for work, just got a new one from work and it has Vista on it...and he thinks it is wonderful I told him of all the BAD stuff I've heard and read about it and he looked at me with a puzzled look. Oh well maybe it's too soon.

Joe, we have something else in common: my son is studying aerospace engineering in school. But, he uses an iBook.

I'm spending the afternoon in downgrading Vista to XP on a new touchscreen Le-Bozo laptop!

It's a fact that people who have Windows at work, along with in house tech support, have no idea of what it takes to keep them running smoothly. Nor are they usually allowed access to unprotected pipes on the Internet. Nor are they allowed to install much if anything. But, most of all, they may never have seen a Mac, much less used one. You can take a horse to the museum of art but you can't make him appreciate in the beauty!
