Title: Who says Macs can be used in businesses?!

Take a look at the 'slideshow' at this link. I once bought something from them and now get an email every few months. The latest one was an invite to see their new digs. They are obviously making money! But unless you are in the market for some kind of audio equipment or musical instrument, you'll not likely ever visit the new building or their web site. But the 'preview' of how the company treats its employees is very interesting.
There seem to be extremely good on-the-job benefits (free video games, free workout area, free DVD/video rentals, in-house services such as hair cuts, laundry/cleaning pickup and delivery, employee concierge, in house chef in breakfast and lunch 'restaurant', racquetball court...well you get the picture. They are all mentioned in the pictures, anyway. All of that is great but notice something they don't even mention. Count (on one hand!) how many computers you see are not Macs! I counted maybe 5. And one of them is provided by their shipper of choice, FedEx. There are some mixing boards that don't use OS X, but many that do, so even there you will see many "Mac" menu bars! Looks like they use everything from eMacs to iBooks to MacBooks to Mac Pros.
After scanning the slides, I almost forgot it wasn't an Apple ad!
The local paper also ran another article about how the county school system uses Macs in their elementary classes. The school mentioned had an 'open house' for parents at 7:15 AM to show how their children make PodCasts, iMovies and music (one child complained that two Macs didn't have GarageBand 3 installed).
My own Grand daughter, in FL has reported that they are using a Mac and Indesign in their Journalism classes to create a newspaper.

Jim, did that newspaper article mention what grade levels were using iMovie, Garageband, etc?
Also, what grade is your granddaughter in?
(Gathering info for a tech teacher who wants to change her curriculum. )
