Title: Another browser.....
Post by: cdub1988 on May 24, 2008, 07:17:51 PM
Not sure if you've discussed this one here, but I cam across it as I had a little flake out of FF on my bank site and used the linux Netscape build.

Just thought I'd pass it on.

I think my issue with FF was actually related to an upgraded mplayer plugin, but haven't confirmed it yet.

However, I've been using this browser a bit now and it runs really well as far as resposiveness on Linux. Actually seems more responsive than FF, though it's built on the FF core.

Anyway, just another one to throw into the mix......Flock.

Take care, all.

Chris

I've had it installed for quite a while, though must admit, hadn't actually used it much. It's a very nice looking browser, and with the various "connection" options offers some things others don't from what I can tell. (Looks like the perfect browser for the teenager in my house!!! laugh.gif )

MacWorld had some nice things to say about Flock a couple of issues back.

So, it must be attracting new users sheeprope.gif

(you know the punch line)
