Title: Biggest Drawing in the World

Let me get this straight, first, he designs and builds a GPS with "extended track log and batteries." Next, he gets DHL to fly much of the way while saving countless hours but expending countless pounds of fuel. And he also gets dozens of people to drive around certain places too small for an aircraft.
I find it very hard to believe that DHL (or any other airline) would agree to fly some of those circuitous routes over the seas, much less land, even assuming they could coordinate those flight plans with the dozens of air control centers.
No, what I would believe is that he was able to get the coordinates of specific points around the world and then connect the dots. This would easily allow for some "artistic license" in displaying the 'self-portrait.'
But I'm known for being hard to convince about some peoples capabilities, knowledge, skills and even veracity! Especially when the interweb is involved! "Sure I did it, it's even on YouToob!"

...and governments! Take a look at some of the countries the line goes through.
Nothing on Snopes for "biggest drawing in the world". I'm a skeptic too. While it's a big concept, it seems to be a waste of fuel, which as we know is an increasingly scarce resource.

My first question was how much did this cost?
Well, it turns out it was done with DHL's assistance due to the advertising benefit it will receive.

There is a disclaimer above the video.

Unfortunately, that disclaimer was not added until "28/6" which I assume means "28/5. Unless the 'artist' thinks calendars are also 'fictional.' This thread would probably never been started had that disclaimer be at that site before Tom posted.
Wonder if anything else on the interweb has been edited without obeing truthful... Nah, if it's on th interweb, it must be true.

I didn't comment on this but meant to; it really never passed my sniff test (like the "rotten shark") once I looked at the scale involved! Oh, well P.T. Barnum said it and it's true still!
