Title: Conversion Cheers
Post by: RHPConsult on May 10, 2003, 12:07:15 PM
Down thar, midst towering mangroves, the rock fish and the coral, Lives a Mac-ster who doth Rule this Realm. with demeanor quite benign, For us she’s worked a mir-acle, on which her Subjects shall opine, So sit ye down, enjoy the view, and have a glass of wine.
Did Jen, The Royal Empress, transform TS, alone? Pray no, for down from Jersey ‘s Hills came help .. . see it enthroned In a Forum with real beauty, with speed to boot, you’ll see, You’ll now enjoy Kris' graphic skills, of grace and artistry.
For months these two have labored, with help from others . . . on occasion, But we here know who really coped with the algorithmic equation. So won’t you, please, on bended knee, send thanks to these great gals, For taking TechSurvivors to a new - - a beauteous - - locale.
They bring to “vol-un-teer” a rich new meaning . . . so unique, One heavy with much iron-y, for they are far from “geeks”. But they have big hearts, they love their Macs, they’re TS-ers through and through And today, good friends, they give us gifts, from them, to we, and you.
Thank you, thank you. Jennie and Krissel
Whoops! a PS is needed:
I’m now told that CrestComm, too, helped frame these worthy Forums, That Diana Brake advised TS' crew, on avoiding dangerous chasms Alongside our InfoHighway . . . mahap to trap a future pilgrim Seeking help for a Mac that's gone awry - - with puzzles that benumb.
Many thanks, Diana, from the TS Gang, spread clear around the World, We ‘preciate the help you gave to Jennie, in all her twists and whirls While crafting here for the Mac-sters, something new, and fast, and slick So Mac knowledge sound, and some OTs too, will be on our screens real quick.

My also to each and everone involved in the 'transformation/transportation' of this great place.
I'm sure we can never know the amount of time and effort put in by those involved, but it is a great place.
THANK YOU, for your hard work and great effort.

Hmm! I got a cursor only by clicking a Smilie first, then hitting the Preview Post button. Now to see if my reply will indeed be posted...
But first: Everything looks great with the exception of the name and personal data of the poster on the far left. The print is too small for my feeble eyes.
To explain the first paragraph, when I get to the reply screen, the Smilies are scattered all over the place, and I cannot type anything.
Please don't let this thread get off track. I posted a new test thread just before getting this far on my third try in an existing thread.
Let us revel in the words of RHP, The TS poet laureate is he!

Howdy, Has been somelongtime since I have posted to the forum....Good job,ATTABOY,welldone you all should be proud(I know you are,as am I of your collective efforts) ."Poster Child"Kindasorta makes me feel like one of "Jerry's Kids",,,,,not a terrible bad thing, but "NICCKIE NEW " or "FNG"or even "CHERRY" or what have you might be more appropriate.(I do support Jerry Lewis 100% and donate to his orginization, and do not take offense, but others may do so)
