I find myself in Colorado, a long way away from my Babydarlin'

I did shoot this pic yesterday to turn into a Valentine greeting

Male & female?

And why would that matter?

Let us be all-encompassing in matters of love.

Well, Valentine's Day is over, so I hope this is okay to say...

Sorry, Tom, but I find this a bit hostile and anxiety-provoking!

Stop by Chicago on your way back.  We should talk.

So sorry, certainly didn't intend to cause anxiety.

I saw this as a cute dog-meet-dog moment in the Prairie Dog World.

I'd would love to return to
Chicago soon. I lived there for many years, well, actually Evanston.

No need for apologies, Tom -- you did not provoke any anxieties here --

I thought the little prairie pup looks rather frightened, with quite understandably high anxiety, as she appears to be pursued by a rather aggressive-looking hulk of a dog there.

I mean, his posture looks anything but affectionate nor playful, and her fleeing seems to be more an act of desperation than coquettishness.

Am I the only one who hopes a mongoose pops up and saves the day?

By the way, where in Evanston?  We're not too far from there.

Lots of places around Evanston, first as a student at NU, then working as a news photog for a number of years.
The best apartment was overlooking the lake on Sheridan Square, the first road you encounter when entering Evanston by the lake & the cemetery.

Just got to be too cold.
