Title: IMPORTANT: TS moving to new server
Post by: krissel on October 31, 2008, 06:20:21 PM
We will try to move the whole shebang to a new server around midnight Saturday, EDT.

The site may be unreachable for a few hours so don't worry, that is if you are awake. smile.gif

Actually the server's IP will change which may mean some of you will not be able to reach TS until the new number propagates through the DNS system. It may be a day or more.  sad.gif

I already posted this in Tech, but just in case anybody missed it:

Midnight EDT - around 5am UK, so Europeans may lose TeeEss for quite a chunk of Sunday. sad.gif

True, but I've arranged for that whole area to have an extra hour tomorrow. I know that's not an equal trade but times around here are tough, ya know...

The "fall back" is supposed to occur at 2:00 AM LOCAL time to eliminate the 'confusion factor' Devilish2.gif
