Title: No Disks showing in Startup manager

I have the flashing question mark on startup on my imac, nothing starts, when I load startup manager, no disk are shown, I dont have any Mac OS disks either, has anyone got any ideas...thanks in advnace

 Which iMac? Which OS?

Startup manager?

Do you have an OS9 or OSX CD? What about DiskWarrior?

I would start up from one of those CD's..probably OS9 or DiskWarrior and see if you can fix it using that.

Yes. It's very important to know which machine and OS.

Could just be a bad PRAM Battery.
