The State is offering a tax break package that could save Apple more than $300 million, if the farm remained in use for 30 years. Of course, that's pretty optimistic. And the estimate comes "legislative staffers' estimates".
Sometimes these deals 'break' the state (meaning the people) more than anything else...of course, there's always the lottery, everyone knows that is a money maker and hurts no one...except the thousands that don't have the money to waste on them...too bad they can't bet on when they will get hit by lightening, that will be more often than when they win more than they pay.
I know, YMMV.
