Title: I'm Famous - Again
Post by: Texas Mac Man on July 06, 2009, 05:40:46 PM
My local newspaper - the Dallas Morning News - carries a comic called Pluggers. It's one of my favorites and the person that draws the comic uses contributor's ideas. One of my submissions was included in today's paper.

This is my second idea chosen. My first idea was published in January 2007.

And, then there's that banner...the one with the mal-formed 'period.' Looks like it blew its top! tease.gif

Seriously, I like it. Clean, simple, functional, to the point (even if the 'point' is broken! tongue.gif ).

Does this mean that one can actually get more than (one) fifteen minutes of fame???  tongue.gif wink.gif

On the interweb, it's actually 15 seconds of 'fame,' but if you can do it enough, you might get to the 15 minute level... rofl.gif Tom seems well on the way, don't you think? clap.gif

Actually I got double famous (30 seconds?) this week. They reprinted my Jan 07 comic as a classic on 8 July 09.
