What I'd like to know is how many of those companies are still using XP and how many are using Vista? Now that would be interesting...
Wonder what the percentages would look like for Apple and Snow Leopard, particularly as it requires Intel processors? The newspaper I worked at until two years ago was still using OS 9 on G4s... (And Quark 3.x!!)

What is a "newspaper?" Not to mention "OS 9." A "Quark" is somewhat more familiar, I think that is a sub-atomic particle. Do those other things have something to do with small sized things? Like, the number of people who love Vista.

Not OS 9, it's Deep Space 9, and Quark is an ultra-capitalist Ferengi, and owns a bar on the Promenade of Deep Space Nine. Everybody knows thaaat.

The Fortune 100 company that I worked for (until Mar 2008) most likely will not upgrade to Windows 7 (about 50,000 employees). Stability and security are key areas for large corporations, and reinventing the team to maintain such after an OS update/change is just not feasible if everything still works. They are still using XP.
