I'm waiting a couple of days to see if my choice comes down in price a little.
Amazingly, I noticed that Apple's RAM upgrade prices have fallen considerably, at least for MBP RAM. The one I'm looking at (as most Macs do nowadays) comes with 2GB, upgrading to 4 (2 x 2GB SDRAM chips) is $100. Even OWC only offers a $97.xx equivalent. Hardly worth the trouble to replace them at home. OTOH, user modifications would provide a couple of 1GB chips to sell of for at least a few dollars. If one takes the time to actually do that...

Yes... think I have enough memory chips setting around to begin a pretty good 'super-computer'
Note to self--- also an iChat camera in original box, mouse, etc, etc, etc.... time to get posterior in gear....

Bob, do you have any idea what you can get for an original iSight camera on eBay? Of course, anyone with a newer iMac/MBP will already have one installed, but there are millions of Macs out there that have FireWire and could use that camera. You might get enough to make a big dent in your house note! Get that 'posterior' in high gear!

I got an iPod Nano for my daughter, but found that MacConnection had the best price - just 136.99 - no tax, no shipping!
