Title: Configuring COM (Serial) Port on DOSBox
Post by: Parker on February 23, 2010, 07:31:07 PM
Hey all,
I'm back from falling off the face of the Earth with a question concerning DOSBox.

I have a USB to Serial adapter which I would like to use to create an RS232 COM port in DOSBox.
Can somebody help me through configuring this?

DOSBox 0.7.3 running in Snow Leopard
Also... the DOSBox prefpane is not showing up in my System Preferences, so I'd probably have to fix that too, right?

So what have I been doing with my life, some of you must be asking...
Well, I'm currently in my Freshman year at Hofstra University. I currently do not have a major declared because I honestly have no idea what I want to do with my life, so I'm getting some required courses out of the way and also studying foreign languages. Having studied Spanish in high school and while continuing it here in college, I am also learning how to speak French, which I just started this semester, with intentions to learn another once I've completed French.

Hi Parker!  Glad to see you back at TS. Wish I could help you with your question but others will have to chime in.

Just wanted to say hello and wish you luck with your studies.  salute.gif

This might offer some hope, not sure what language they use, however! <DOSBox forum>
This may not be of much help, but it does seem to be a 'foreigner!' rofl.gif Seems to be more concerned about game playing. dntknw.gif <YouTube video 'How to'>
