Title: removal from dock

When the original Safari beta came out I placed it's icon in the dock.
I now have beta 2 up and running and it's icon is on the desktop, how do I remove beta 1 from the dock (or delete it completely) and replace it with beta 2 ?

Hi George,

Just click and hold the mouse button down on the icon you want to remove from the dock and drag it to your desktop.  Poof, in a puff of smoke the icon is gone from your dock.
