Title: Camino crashes on startup in 10.6.3
Post by: Paddy on April 08, 2010, 10:01:35 PM
In case any of you have had the experience of Camino crashing on startup under 10.3.6, it turns out it's More Fun with Fonts. I turned off all the duplicates in Font Book and that didn't do it, so ran the three terminal commands listed in the thread linked below and voila! Problem solved. smile.gif Now if the folks at Mozilla would just get around to fixing whatever they broke starting with Firefox 3.6 that doesn't allow those of us running testing servers (MAMP) to preview our Dreamweaver PHP web pages, we'd be all set. Another known problem - no fixes though 3.6.2 was supposed to fix it and didn't.

BTW - deleting the font caches with Onyx did NOT fix the problem. I tried that first. Use the Terminal commands (just copy and paste them one by one)

Maybe you should either upgrade to 10.6.3 or get a much, much earlier version of Camino that would run on Panther? dntknw.gif
