I have several screen savers, some that came with my iMac, and some I dl'd from sites recommended right here on TeeEss.
Now, my question is:
How do I choose my favs from these, and then have them cycled thru, but ignore all the others?
Folder? or what????

Although I don't use screen savers myself, it seems to me that you should open the Desktop & Screen Saver preference pane, select the Screen Saver tab, select Shuffle (under Pictures) and then follow the prompts.

Try this...
1. Collect the screen savers you want to cycle through and place them in a single folder.
2. Open the Desktop & Screen Saver Pref panel and select "Screen Saver."
3. Click the "+" button and choose the "Add a Folder of Pictures" option.
4. Select the folder you created in step 1.
5. Set that as your choice in the list and click the "Test" button.
Let me know the results, assuming your Mac doesn't melt!
I suspect the "Use random screen saver uses any and all that are installed, not just a particular folder or group of them.

When all else fails, read the directions.

It was the '+' that did the trick. Then I could select a Folder that had my favs in it.
Thanks ABD! It worked like a charm.

Unfortunately, like many of Apple's 'instructions,' the one covering "random" is a little vague. At least in answering Jack's question. But that's the problem with people like him!
Too many people keep asking questions Apple didn't intend to answer!
"Just don't hold it that way."
OTOH, we now know something Steve may not!
