Title: WOW! Adobe finds another security leak in Reader

"Well shiver me timbers!" rofl.gif Not sure why anyone still uses it, but it might be wise to try Preview, PDFpen Pro or anything else you can find, at least until this leak is plugged. Wonder if that rig down in the Gulf can help them... Thinking.gif dntknw.gif

Oh. Good. Grief. I just downloaded a "secure flaw fixed" version.

What's PDFpen Pro?

From the horse's mouth... You can compare PDFPen and PDFPen Pro. Personally, I have no need for the Pro version so I use the cheaper one.

Unfortunately, I do need the full version of Acrobat. So, I guess we wait...dry.gif

QUOTE
We are in the process of finalizing a fix for the issue and expect to provide updates for Adobe Reader 9.3.4 for Windows, Macintosh and UNIX, and Adobe Acrobat 9.3.4 for Windows and Macintosh during the week of October 4, 2010.

Please note that these Adobe Reader and Acrobat updates represent an accelerated release of the next quarterly security update originally scheduled for October 12, 2010.

PDFpen will let you edit/annotate/fill out (forms) PDFs. A lot like Preview but more capabilities. I suspect Acrobat will always have more capabilities than any other PDF creator? dntknw.gif

Thanks for the info on PDFpen.

Paddy, that quote you have from Adobe has me rolling my eyes ... Ooooohhhh, they are gonna accelerate fixing a major security flaw by a whopping 7 days. Oooooohhhhh ... be still my beating heart.  tongue.gif
