I think I must reconsider my personal fairly high opinion of your character... rolleyes.gif Surely you can find more enlightening programs on BBC or even Sky!! eek2.gif Perhaps Malcom in the Middle? getsick.gif

I actually met Jean Van der Pyle - the voice of Wilma.  She was at a local bible study and she was sharing her story.

A friend of mine was in a Baltimore band in the late 1970's called "Tom Chalkley and The Reason" (probably not the only band called the Reason).  One of the things they did was press a 45rpm recording (small record with a big hole in the middle) that was a funny take off of The Flintstones mixed with Bruce Springsteen (who some of them knew back then as I recall).  This was to be a novelty recording and it was at least "nodded" at by someone with some organization that owned some rights to The Flintstones.  Apparently this amount of rights wasn't enough and they received a C&D order from Hanna Barbara (or whoever really owned the rights back then).  I am someone who still owns one of the recordings and I'm hoping some time soon to play it back into an MP3 using one of my MAC's and a suitable turntable. rolleyes.gif

I'd post a scan of the front of the 45 but I don't have rights and I'm not in close touch with Tom Chalkey (now the political cartoonist known as Chalk). Thinking.gif But to describe this you must imagine a cartoon Fred mixed with Springsteen standing next to a Dino the Dinosaur dressed in a trenchcoat. . .the title is "BRUCE SPRINGSTONE, Live at Bedrock" and they're doing "(MEET THE) FLINTSTONES" song!   thumbup.gif It was a simpler time!

Found this blog that talks about the 45 and also it's "B Side: Take Me Out to The Ballgame" which was a quick hit in Baltimore bars as well!

Good night to you Chalk!
