That was an interesting read.

I never came across Halloween until I went to boarding school in the 1970's in England.  There was a girl from Massachusetts whose mother sent her masses of stuff for Halloween which she duly decked out around her bed area.  I remember the Charlie Brown Halloween stickers mostly but there were endless paper things, like Christmas really.

In the UK Halloween never meant much until about 10-15 years ago.  My OH blames The Simpsons!
